Either Rolex RARE "Exclamation Point" or RARE "Underline" = TRITIUM on Markers..

Err...here's from Orchi's own additional observations...
about the Rolex RARE "Exclamation Point" Dials...

But to begin with...lets recapped Orchi's previous observation about the...
RARE Rolex "Underline" Dials...

Additional read about the RARE "Underline" Dials...

TRITIUM(which was safer) replaced RADIUM(too lethal radioactive) from as early as 1958 or 1959...
BUT there was NO Regulation yet at the time...
requiring ROLEX to mark the TRITIUM usage on Dial n Hands...

While this was going on...some OLD stocks of Dials were made
(marked with GILT "SWISS")...
which could easily be mistaken that the Dial might still have...
the lethal radioactive RADIUM on the Dial markers n hands...

Therefore...ROLEX decided to mark the remaining stocks of Dials(marked with GILT "SWISS")...
which was in smaller quantity to begin with...with the "Underline" in White(or Silver) paint...or in Black paint...
on the Dials(Top Half or Bottom Half regardless)...with or without...
DOUBLE "T" on each sides of the existing GILT "SWISS" on the Dial...
or...additional marking of "SWISS" in White(or Silver) paint...
above or next to...the existing GILT "SWISS" under the 6 o'clock markers...

Subsequently by the Later 50s n Early 60s...
might be from 1959 to 1963 or so roughly...
A LAW was passed requiring ALL watch makers(including Omega etc etc)...
n ROLEX to mark the usage of SAFER Tritium...
on the Dial markers n Hands...with the early use of the Symbol "T"...
or later on with "SWISS-T<25"... or "T SWISS T"...or "T SWISS T<25"...or "T SWISS MADE T"...etc etc.

So From then onwards until 1998 or so...ALL Rolex Dials started to be marked accordingly as above...
to indicate the usage of the SAFER Tritium on Dial markers n Hands...

Having said the above...Orchi also thinks that...
these days when a Dial is found to have...
the RARE "Underline" on the Dial...
it would NOT have the RARE "Exclamation Point" under the 6 o'clock marker...

n THOSE Dials of the SIMILAR era...which is found to have the RARE "Exclamation Point"...
it would NOT have the RARE "Underline" on the Dial...

Nevertheless...there may come a time...
or perhaps someone might possess a ROLEX Dial that has...
BOTH the RARE "Underline" & the RARE "Exclamation Point" on the SAME Dial...???

DOUBLE RARE "Underline" & "Exclamation Point" Dial -
If someone possesses this type of Dial already...

Please post your RARE "Underline" Dials...
or your "Exclamation Point" Dials...

Thanks a million for watching...

Oh btw...here's a notable mention posted by Buddy Diverdick...
about Tritium markings on ROLEX Dials...

Best regards
Orchi.
